Product Description

The JET TECH 07-5086 is a genuine OEM gas shock designed for use on dishwasher door assemblies in commercial food service applications. Gas shocks provide controlled resistance to door movement, allowing doors to open and close smoothly without slamming or dropping under their own weight. This replacement part is built to original manufacturer specifications and is intended for installation by qualified food service equipment technicians or commercial kitchen service professionals. At 0.18 pounds, it is a lightweight component but plays a critical role in the safe daily operation of the dishwasher unit.

This gas shock is designed for JET TECH commercial dishwashing equipment. JET TECH manufactures a range of dishwashers for the food service industry, including undercounter, door type, conveyor, and glass washer models. This part is listed as a required replacement component, meaning it is not optional when the door mechanism shows signs of failure such as uncontrolled drop, resistance loss, or visible damage to the shock body.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified commercial kitchen equipment technician. Disconnect power to the dishwasher before beginning any service work on door components. Inspect mounting brackets and attachment points for wear or corrosion before installing the new shock. Do not operate the unit with a damaged or missing door gas shock, as uncontrolled door movement presents an injury risk in a commercial kitchen environment.
