The JET-LUBE 13502 is a nickel-based anti-seize compound formulated for extreme-temperature and nuclear-grade service. It combines chemically pure nickel flake with high-carbon synthetic graphite suspended in an ashless synthetic fluid thickened by a water-resistant complex soap. This dual-filler system provides corrosion and rust protection across a service range of -65 degrees F to 2600 degrees F. The nickel flake resists galling and seizing under high heat, while the synthetic graphite reduces residual torque during disassembly. Supplied in a 0.5-pound brushtop can for direct, controlled application. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors working in high-temperature or nuclear-grade environments are the primary installers.
This compound is designed for use on pipe fittings, threaded connections, and fasteners exposed to extreme heat cycles or corrosive environments. The brushtop can format suits field and shop use where brush-applied coverage is preferred over paste or aerosol. Its certified nuclear-grade purity makes it a required specification item in nuclear plant maintenance and Navy applications. It is also suitable for industrial piping, flange bolts, and exhaust system fasteners in commercial and heavy mechanical service where disassembly after long service intervals is anticipated.
Designed for use on pipe fittings, threaded fasteners, and flange connections in high-temperature industrial and nuclear-grade service applications. Conforms to NAVSEAINST 9210.36B requirements and exceeds nuclear-grade purity level standards.
Apply with the integrated brush to clean, dry threads before assembly. Pipefitters and mechanical contractors should follow site-specific torque procedures, as the K-Factor of 0.15 affects bolt-load calculations versus dry or other lubricated conditions. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during application. In nuclear or Navy-classified installations, verify conformance documentation is on file before use.
