The JET 691209 is a full-size knee mill configured with a NEWALL C80 3-axis quill digital readout (DRO) and an XY powerfeed unit installed at the factory. The JTM-1050 platform is a horizontal/vertical knee-type milling machine built for precision metalworking in tool rooms, machine shops, and industrial maintenance environments. The NEWALL C80 DRO provides real-time axis position readout on X, Y, and quill (Z) axes, reducing setup time and improving repeatability. The integrated XY powerfeed automates table travel on both horizontal axes, reducing operator fatigue during long milling passes. This machine is sold as a ready-to-run assembly with DRO and powerfeed pre-mounted and wired.
The JET 691209 is intended for professional machine shop use, tool and die work, and heavy-duty maintenance machining in industrial and manufacturing facilities. The JTM-1050 designation indicates a 10-inch by 50-inch table, making it well suited for medium to large workpieces. The factory-installed DRO and powerfeed package eliminates field installation of these accessories, which is a significant time savings for shops putting the machine directly into production service. Typical operators include machinists, tool and die makers, and millwrights.
Designed as an OEM-configured milling machine assembly. The NEWALL C80 DRO and XY powerfeed are matched to the JTM-1050 mill platform as part of this specific 691209 package configuration.
Installation and commissioning should be performed by a qualified millwright or machinery installer. The machine must be properly leveled on a reinforced concrete floor using precision machinist levels before operation. All electrical connections must comply with applicable local codes and the machine nameplate voltage and amperage requirements. Verify all axis locks, gibs, and powerfeed limit stops are properly adjusted before initial power-on.
