The JET 690157 is a vertical knee milling machine configured with a 3-axis ACU-RITE 200S digital readout system and both X-axis and Y-axis powerfeeds installed at the factory. The ACU-RITE 200S DRO provides real-time positional data on three axes, reducing setup time and improving repeatability on production and toolroom work. The X and Y powerfeeds automate table travel, reducing operator fatigue during long cuts. This machine is intended for professional machinists, toolroom operators, and skilled trades working in manufacturing, maintenance, and fabrication environments.
The JTM-2 configuration is suited for light industrial and toolroom applications requiring precise manual milling operations. Typical uses include face milling, end milling, drilling, and boring on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The factory-installed DRO and powerfeed package eliminates field retrofitting and ensures the machine is production-ready on delivery. This unit is appropriate for job shops, maintenance departments, and vocational or technical training facilities.
Designed as a complete OEM-configured vertical knee milling machine. The ACU-RITE 200S DRO and powerfeed components are factory-matched to the JTM-2 mill platform. Consult the machine documentation for compatible tooling arbors, collet systems, and accessory specifications.
Installation requires riggers or millwrights experienced with heavy machine tool placement. The machine must be set on a level, reinforced concrete floor capable of supporting the full shipping weight. Electrical connection should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements and the machine nameplate voltage and phase specifications. Power down and lock out all energy sources before performing any service, tooling changes, or DRO wiring adjustments.
