The JET 121200 is a single-phase electric chain hoist rated at 0.5 ton (1,000 pounds) capacity with a 20-inch lift. It is designed for overhead lifting applications in industrial, mechanical, and trade service environments where reliable vertical load movement is required. The unit operates on 115 or 230 volts single-phase power and comes factory prewired for 230 volts. Licensed electricians and millwrights are the primary installers for this class of equipment. Its compact electric drive and chain mechanism make it suitable for shop cranes, monorail systems, and fixed trolley beam installations.
The 121200 is suited for light industrial and professional trade shops, automotive service facilities, manufacturing support areas, and equipment maintenance bays. Its dual-voltage capability allows adaptation to either 115-volt or 230-volt single-phase circuits, giving installers flexibility across different facility power configurations. The prewired 230-volt factory setting means most installations require only a verified circuit connection before operation. It is intended for single-phase service only and is not rated for three-phase electrical systems.
Designed as an OEM-style electric chain hoist for use with compatible monorail beam systems, shop crane trolleys, and fixed overhead lifting structures rated for 0.5 ton or greater loads.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician and a licensed rigger or millwright familiar with overhead lifting equipment. Disconnect and lockout all electrical power before wiring or mounting the unit. Verify that the supporting structure, beam, or trolley is rated to handle the full dynamic load before placing the hoist in service. Follow all applicable OSHA overhead lift regulations and NEC requirements for motor branch circuit wiring.
