The JERGENS 215-065969 is a heavy-duty keylocking thread locking insert designed to create a permanent, load-bearing internal thread in metal components. Manufactured from C1215 carbon steel with a zinc phosphate coating, it accepts an M12 x 1.75 internal thread (Class 6H fit) and installs via an M18 x 1.5 external thread (Class 6G fit) into a pre-tapped host bore. The overall length is 18 mm. Keylocking inserts mechanically lock into the parent material using keys driven into the host material wall, preventing rotation under torque or vibration loads. This insert meets NAS 1394 standards.
