Product Description

The JC Whitlam SW1296 is a polytetrafluoroethylene tape used as a pipe joint compound. This tape measures three-quarters of an inch in width and has a total length of one thousand two hundred ninety-six inches. The tape is three and a half mil thick and has a density of zero point thirty-eight grams per cubic centimeter. It is designed for use with gases at pressures up to ten thousand psi and liquids at pressures up to three thousand psi.
