The flare caps are designed to handle vacuum and pressures up to five thousand psi, though the valve core may limit maximum working pressure to eight hundred psi. Additionally, they are resistant to oils, alkylates, and diluted mineral acids. The valve core works with most refrigerants, including R410A.
