The JACLO 629-72-sn is a quarter-turn angle stop toilet supply kit designed for residential bathroom rough-in and fixture hookup applications. The valve body connects a 1/2-inch copper sweat fitting on the inlet side to a 3/8-inch O.D. compression outlet, bridging the copper supply stub-out at the wall to the fill valve on the toilet. The kit includes a standard cross handle for manual shutoff, a 20-inch supply tube, and a decorative escutcheon to finish the wall penetration. Licensed plumbers and skilled DIYers install this kit when replacing an existing angle stop or completing a new toilet installation.
This kit is suited for residential toilet supply applications where the in-wall supply line terminates in 1/2-inch copper pipe requiring a sweat-fit connection. The quarter-turn ball-type mechanism provides a full shutoff with a 90-degree handle rotation, making future isolation of the fixture straightforward. The satin nickel finish coordinates with brushed-nickel trim in bathrooms where an exposed escutcheon and supply tube are visible.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install angle stop for residential toilets with a 1/2-inch copper sweat supply stub-out and a 3/8-inch O.D. fill valve inlet.
Installation requires a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in most jurisdictions. Shut off the main water supply and drain the line before soldering the sweat connection. Use proper flux and lead-free solder in compliance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC. Do not apply heat near finished wall surfaces without appropriate shielding, and allow the fitting to cool completely before pressurizing the line.
