The JACLO 629-72-mbk is a quarter-turn angle stop toilet supply kit designed for residential bathroom plumbing. The valve uses a 1/2 inch copper sweat (solder) inlet connection and a 3/8 inch OD compression outlet, making it compatible with standard toilet fill valve supply ports. The kit includes a standard cross handle for manual shutoff, a 20 inch supply tube, and an escutcheon for a clean wall finish. The matte black finish gives it a consistent look alongside matching bathroom fixtures. Licensed plumbers and skilled DIYers install this type of kit as part of toilet rough-in or fixture replacement work.
This kit is suited for residential toilet installations where a copper sweat supply stub-out is already present at the wall. The angle-pattern stop orients the outlet 90 degrees from the inlet, which is the standard configuration for toilet and lavatory shutoff valves. The cross handle provides tactile quarter-turn operation to shut off water supply quickly during maintenance or emergencies. The included 20 inch supply tube bridges the valve outlet to the toilet fill valve, and the escutcheon covers the wall penetration for a finished appearance. This assembly is appropriate for new construction, remodel, and replacement applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation angle stop kit for residential toilets supplied by a 1/2 inch copper sweat wall stub-out with a 3/8 inch OD fill valve inlet.
Installation of the sweat-fit inlet requires soldering and should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the main water supply and drain the line before cutting and soldering. Allow the solder joint to cool fully before pressurizing the line and checking for leaks. The compression supply tube connection at the fill valve should be hand-tightened then snugged with a wrench — do not overtighten.
