The JACKSON SAFETY 67210 is a disposable, uncorded foam ear plug designed to reduce hazardous noise exposure in industrial, construction, and manufacturing environments. Rated at 31 dB noise reduction, these bullet-shaped plugs are made from soft roll-down polyurethane foam that self-expands to conform to the ear canal after insertion. The high-visibility orange color makes compliance monitoring straightforward for safety supervisors. Licensed safety professionals, industrial hygienists, and site safety officers typically manage distribution of these plugs as part of a hearing conservation program.
These ear plugs are suited for continuous or intermittent use in high-noise environments such as metalworking shops, woodworking facilities, assembly lines, airports, and construction sites. The universal sizing and bullet profile allow quick, consistent insertion without specialized training, making them practical for large workforces requiring daily hearing protection. They are intended for single-use, disposable application.
Designed as a standard disposable foam ear plug for hearing protection programs in general industry, construction, and manufacturing settings where OSHA-mandated hearing conservation requirements apply.
Ear plugs should be inserted by rolling the foam between clean fingers into a tight cylinder, then pulling the outer ear upward and back to straighten the ear canal before insertion. Hold the plug in place for several seconds to allow the foam to fully expand and seat properly. Ear plugs that are damaged, soiled, or no longer expand fully should be discarded and replaced. Distribution and use should follow a site hearing conservation program in compliance with applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.95 or 1926.52 standards.
