The JACKSON SAFETY 36680 is a box of 10 back hand pads designed to protect welding gloves during active use. Each pad measures 5.5 inches by 13 inches and features a double-layer construction with a Wilson Aluminum Mylar Aluminum (AMA) top layer. The pads are sewn and riveted for durability, extending the working life of welding safety gloves by shielding the back-of-hand area from heat, spatter, and abrasion. Welders and fabricators who depend on quality gloves install these protectors to reduce wear and defer glove replacement.
These back hand pads are suited for arc welding, MIG, TIG, and stick welding environments where spatter and radiant heat cause accelerated glove degradation. They are applied over existing welding gloves on job sites ranging from light fabrication shops to heavy industrial settings. Each box contains 10 individual pads, making them practical for stocking at the shop level or distributing across a crew.
Designed as an over-glove protector for standard welding safety gloves used in arc, MIG, TIG, and stick welding applications.
These pads are applied by welding professionals over existing gloves before beginning work. Ensure the pad is properly seated and secured over the back of the hand before striking an arc. Inspect rivets and seams periodically and replace any pad showing structural wear or heat damage.
