The JACKSON SAFETY 24737 is a passive welding helmet built for professional welders who need reliable, lightweight head and face protection during arc welding operations. The HLX100 features a Hydraflex polycarbonate shell that balances durability with flexibility, keeping the helmet intact under job-site conditions. At 6 ounces, it significantly reduces neck fatigue during extended wear. The helmet ships complete with a shade 10 polycarbonate filter plate and a cover plate, so it is ready to use out of the box. The 370 Speed Dial headgear system provides easy grip-and-turn adjustment for a secure, repeatable fit across head sizes.
This helmet is suited for professional welders and fabricators performing shielded metal arc welding, MIG, or flux-core welding in shop or field environments where a passive fixed-shade lens is preferred over auto-darkening. The hard-hat adaptable design makes it compatible with bump cap and hard hat integration for sites requiring full head protection. It is also ADF-ready, accepting Jackson Safety NexGen, TrueSight II, Professional Variable, and Insight auto-darkening filter cartridges if an upgrade is needed later.
Accepts Jackson Safety NexGen, TrueSight II, Professional Variable, and Insight auto-darkening filter cartridges. Hard hat adaptable using the Jackson Safety 187-S adapter. Sold individually; minimum order quantity is 2 units.
Fitting and headgear adjustment should be performed by the wearer before beginning any welding operation to ensure a secure seal and proper lens positioning. Inspect the shade 10 filter and cover plate for cracks or damage before each use and replace either component if clarity is compromised. Welding helmet selection and use should comply with ANSI Z87.1 eye and face protection standards and applicable employer safety programs. Adapter installation for hard hat or ADF integration should follow the manufacturer instructions included with the respective adapter or filter unit.
