The JACKSON SAFETY 20394 is a front brim hard hat molded from lightweight high-density polyethylene (HDPE), designed for job sites where impact protection and comfort are both required. The contoured dome and shorter bill improve upward sightlines while a built-in rain trough channels water away from the face. A 4-point ratchet suspension system offers over 30 adjustment positions, covering head sizes from 6.5 inches to 8 inches. An absorbent brow pad is included for extended wear. This hard hat meets ANSI Z89.1 Type 1, Class C, G, and E standards. Licensed contractors, construction crews, and industrial safety personnel are the typical end users.
The 20394 is suited for general construction, industrial facilities, and utility work where overhead impact hazards are present. The cap-style front brim design reduces glare from sunlight and overhead lighting, making it practical for both outdoor and indoor environments. A universal accessory slot allows compatibility with add-on attachments such as face shields, earmuffs, and visors, extending protection without requiring a separate mounting system. This hard hat ships in a case of 12 units, making it appropriate for crew-level procurement.
Features a universal accessory slot designed to accept compatible hard hat attachments including face shields and hearing protection accessories. Meets ANSI Z89.1 Type 1, Class C, G, and E standards for use in applicable work environments.
Fitting and adjustment should be performed before entering any work area with overhead hazards. Set the ratchet suspension to achieve a firm, level fit with no more than one inch of clearance between the shell and the top of the head. Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks, dents, or UV degradation before each use and replace any hard hat showing visible damage. Follow applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.135 and 1926.100 requirements for head protection selection and use.
