The JACKSON SAFETY 20202 is a non-vented, front brim cap-style hard hat molded from high density polyethylene (HDPE). It is part of the Advantage Series and features a contoured dome with a ridgeline profile for easy identification on the job site. The hat ships in blue and is designed for general industrial head protection in applications where venting is not required. Installation and fitment are handled by a 4-point easy-dial ratcheting suspension that adjusts to head sizes 6-1/2 to 8. This hard hat is used by general contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other trades requiring compliant head protection during active work.
The 20202 suits general all-around head protection across residential and commercial construction, industrial facilities, utility work, and similar environments. The longer bill provides added coverage from sun exposure and falling debris. A built-in rain trough channels water away from the neck, which makes it practical for outdoor work in variable weather. The slotted design allows attachment of compatible Jackson Safety and Sellstrom branded accessories, including face shield adapters and Vibe earmuffs, without additional hardware.
Slotted adapters on this hard hat are compatible with multiple Jackson Safety and Sellstrom branded accessories, including face shield adapters and Vibe earmuffs. Designed as an OEM-style cap-style hard hat for general industrial and construction head protection applications.
Hard hat fitting and suspension adjustment should be performed before entering any hazardous work area. Power down or de-energize adjacent equipment as required by site safety protocols before donning PPE and beginning work. Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks, brittleness, or deformation before each use and replace the unit if damage is found. Sweatband replacement should be done periodically to maintain hygiene and suspension integrity.
