The JACKSON SAFETY 20189 is a C10 series bump cap designed to protect workers from minor head impacts, scalp lacerations, and incidental contact with stationary objects. Molded from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the cap is lightweight and durable. It features a front brim profile and ships in green. An absorbent brow pad is included for all-day comfort during extended wear. The 4-point pinlock sizing system adjusts to fit head sizes ranging from 6.5 inches to 8.25 inches. This cap is intended for environments where bump protection is required but full hard hat protection is not mandated by site conditions or code.
The 20189 bump cap is suited for light industrial, maintenance, and facilities work where overhead clearance is limited and workers face risk from low-hanging fixtures, machinery, or structural elements. It is a common choice for warehouse operations, food processing facilities, and general manufacturing environments. The front brim design provides additional shade and incidental face shielding. The cap can be made compatible with a face shield attachment for added coverage. Replacement sweatbands and suspension inserts are available separately, supporting hygiene standards in shared-use or high-turnover work environments. Sold in a minimum quantity of 12 units per order.
Designed for use as a C10 series bump cap; face shield attachments and replacement suspension inserts sold separately are intended for compatible Jackson Safety C10 bump cap models.
Bump caps are worn directly on the head and require no tools for sizing adjustment. Set the pinlock suspension to the appropriate head size before first use and verify a secure, snug fit. Bump caps do not meet ANSI Z89.1 hard hat requirements and must not be substituted for Class E, G, or C hard hats where overhead impact or electrical hazard protection is required by site safety plans or OSHA regulations. Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks or wear before each use and replace components as needed.
