The JACKSON SAFETY 14836 is the SC-6 front brim hard hat, molded from lightweight high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for dielectric performance and impact resistance. The smooth domed cap-style shell eliminates crevices where debris and moisture can accumulate, and the full front brim reduces glare from sunlight and overhead lighting. A 4-point ratchet suspension system provides more than 30 adjustment positions, accommodating head sizes from 6.5 inches to 8 inches. An absorbent brow pad is included for extended wear comfort. This hard hat is intended for construction, industrial, and utility trades requiring head protection that meets recognized safety standards.
The SC-6 is suited for general construction, electrical work, and industrial job sites where overhead impact hazards and non-conductive head protection are required. The full-brim design provides additional coverage from sun exposure and falling debris. A universal accessory slot built into the shell allows integration of compatible earmuffs, face shields, and other attachments without tools, making it practical for multi-hazard environments. Sold in a minimum quantity of 12 units per order, making it appropriate for fleet purchasing by contractors, safety managers, and site supervisors.
Designed to accept universal hard hat accessories via the integrated accessory slot. Compatible attachments include face shields and earmuff assemblies designed for slotted hard hat systems. Specific accessory compatibility should be verified with the accessory manufacturer prior to use.
Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks, dents, or UV degradation before each use and replace if damage is found. Adjust the ratchet suspension to achieve a firm, level fit before entering any hazardous work area. Do not modify the shell or suspension, and do not store the hard hat where it will be exposed to prolonged direct sunlight or extreme heat, as this can degrade HDPE material integrity.
