The JACKSON SAFETY 14809 is a C10 bump cap designed to protect workers from minor head bumps and scalp lacerations in low-clearance work environments. Molded from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the cap is lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. A front brim design provides basic sun and debris deflection. The 4-point pinlock sizing system adjusts to fit head sizes from 6.5 inches to 8.25 inches, making it suitable for a wide range of workers. An absorbent brow pad is included for added comfort during active tasks. Sold in a case of 12 units, this cap is a practical choice for facilities managers, safety coordinators, and supervisors outfitting teams with basic head protection.
The JACKSON SAFETY 14809 bump cap is suited for light industrial, warehouse, food processing, and maintenance environments where workers face low-clearance hazards rather than falling-object or electrical risks. It is not a Class A, B, or C hard hat and should not be used where ANSI Z89.1 hard hat compliance is required. The front brim yellow shell offers high visibility and can be made compatible with a face shield for additional coverage. Replacement sweatbands and suspension inserts are available separately to maintain hygiene standards over the life of the cap.
Replacement sweatbands and suspension inserts designed for the C10 bump cap are available separately; face shield attachments can be made compatible with this cap per the manufacturer.
Bump caps are fitted by safety coordinators or end users and require no tools. Adjust the pinlock sizing ring until the cap sits level and snug on the head without movement. This product is not a substitute for an ANSI-rated hard hat in environments with falling-object or electrical hazards. Inspect the shell and suspension components regularly and replace any cracked, deformed, or heavily soiled parts promptly.
