The ISONAS ACC-IRS-4700 is an in-rush suppressor designed for use with access control panel installations. In-rush suppressors limit the high transient current spike that occurs when inductive loads such as electric strikes, magnetic locks, or solenoid-operated devices are energized or de-energized. Without suppression, these current spikes can damage relay contacts, degrade control board components, and shorten the service life of connected hardware. The ACC-IRS-4700 is installed by low-voltage security and access control technicians as part of a complete panel accessory configuration.
This suppressor is suited for panel accessory applications where inductive locking or electrified door hardware is controlled through relay outputs. It is typically installed directly across the load terminals of an electric strike or magnetic lock circuit. Use in commercial and light-commercial access control systems where relay contact protection and signal integrity are required. Installation alongside ISONAS access control panels is the primary application context.
Designed as an OEM-style accessory for ISONAS access control panel installations where in-rush suppression is required on inductive load circuits.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician familiar with access control wiring practices. De-energize the panel and disconnect power before making any wiring connections. The suppressor is typically wired directly across the inductive load terminals. Follow applicable local codes and the panel manufacturer wiring guidelines when integrating panel accessories.
