The ISCAR 7002089 is a T20 Torx drive driver designed for tightening and loosening insert screws on indexable face mill toolholders. It is a precision hand tool used during insert changes and routine maintenance on milling setups. The driver is compatible with SR 14-591 insert screws and is part of the AluFraise series, which is engineered for aluminum and non-ferrous machining applications. At 0.055 pounds, it is a lightweight, single-use-type tool kept at the machine or in a tooling kit. Installation and insert indexing of face mills is performed by machinists, tooling technicians, and CNC setup personnel.
This driver is used in milling operations where indexable face mill toolholders require periodic insert replacement or repositioning. It is suited for production and job-shop environments running ISCAR AluFraise-series face mills in both horizontal and vertical machining center configurations. The T20 Torx interface provides positive engagement with the SR 14-591 insert screw, reducing the risk of cam-out during torquing. It is a standard accessory stocked alongside insert inventory for fast changeovers.
Compatible with insert screw SR 14-591 and the following toolholder styles: 3M E45AX-20, 3M E90AX, 3M F75AX, 3M SM, ER, F45ST, F45WX-08, F90SD-16, F92ST, FF FWX-08, FR, FRW, H400 FR-16, H490 E90AX-17, H490 SM-17, HM90 EAL-16, HM90 EAL-22, HM90 EAL-CF4-16, HM90 EAL-HSK63A-16, HM90 EAL-HSK63F-16, HM90 FAL-22, and HOF. Also compatible with complete inserts CA-SPM-75RM, CA-SPM-75RS0.4, and CA-SPM-75RW.
Insert changes on indexable face mills should be performed with the spindle powered down and the machine in a locked-out, tagged-out state per applicable shop safety procedures. Use this driver to engage the T20 Torx socket of the insert screw directly, applying steady rotational force without rocking the tool. Do not substitute a standard hex or Phillips driver, as this will damage the screw head. Replace the driver if the Torx lobes show signs of wear to maintain proper screw engagement.
