The ISCAR 7002031 is a countersunk-head cap screw designed to secure indexable inserts in compatible toolholders. It uses a T6 Torx drive and an M2 x 0.4 thread, delivering the precise clamping torque needed to hold cutting inserts firmly during turning operations. At 0.1465 inches (3.72 mm) overall length, this screw is sized specifically for small-format indexable tooling systems. It is a direct component of the Isoturn series and is intended for use by machinists and toolroom technicians maintaining boring bar and turning toolholder assemblies.
This cap screw fits the MG-SWUC toolholder style and is compatible with WCGT 020102L and WCGT 020104L inserts within the Isoturn series. It is suited to precision turning and boring applications where insert retention hardware must meet tight dimensional tolerances. A T-6/5 key driver is required for installation. The screw is sold in a package quantity of one, with a minimum order quantity of five units.
Compatible with MG-SWUC toolholder style within the ISCAR Isoturn series. Verified insert compatibility includes WCGT 020102L and WCGT 020104L. Requires a T-6/5 key driver for installation.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or toolroom technician during scheduled insert indexing or replacement. Ensure the machine spindle is stopped and the toolholder is secured in a vise or fixture before servicing insert hardware. Use only the specified T-6/5 Torx key driver to avoid fastener head damage. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's recommended seating torque for M2 cap screws.
