The insert measures 3.00 mm in cutting width with a maximum depth of cut of 9.00 mm, making it well-suited for medium-depth grooving passes in a single-end configuration. It belongs to ISCAR's Min-Cut series and is held in place by a clamp and screw mechanism. This insert is rated for universal primary workpiece material compatibility, covering material codes H, K, M, P, and S — meaning it handles hardened materials, cast iron, stainless and high-alloy steels, general steels, and superalloys. It fits into Min-Cut series toolholders designed to accept the MIFR insert style with the 10300020 size code. Neutral hand orientation means it can be positioned without a left- or right-hand restriction in compatible tooling setups. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping surfaces for chips or debris before seating the insert. Do not exceed the published maximum depth of cut of 9.00 mm to avoid insert fracture or premature edge failure.
