The ISCAR 6403667 is a solid carbide corner radius boring bar designed for precision internal turning and boring operations on CNC lathes and machining centers. Built for right-hand cutting, it produces a controlled 0.0079-inch corner radius at the cutting edge, making it suitable for tight-tolerance bores where edge geometry consistency is critical. The bar has a minimum bore diameter of 0.2756 inches and a maximum bore depth of 1.142 inches, with an overall length of 1.772 inches. A TiCN and TiN finish coating in manufacturer grade IC228 provides wear resistance and extended tool life in a range of workpiece materials.
This boring bar is intended for small-diameter internal boring applications in production and job-shop environments. It is well suited for CNC turning centers where consistent corner geometry and close bore tolerances are required. The solid carbide construction and dual-layer coating make it appropriate for use on steel, stainless, and cast iron workpieces under stable cutting conditions. Machinists and CNC setup technicians are the primary installers and operators of this tooling.
