The neutral lead angle and neutral hand orientation make it adaptable to straight plunge grooving and parting operations. With a 7-degree relief angle and a 0.16 mm corner radius, it delivers clean entry geometry suited to precision cutoff work on difficult materials. This insert is rated for superalloy workpiece materials and carries primary workpiece material codes M, P, and S under ISO 13399, covering steel, stainless steel, and superalloy classifications. The PVD-coated IC328 grade provides the wear resistance and edge toughness required when cutting heat-resistant alloys at moderate to high surface speeds.
