The ISCAR 6003675 is a solid carbide cutoff and grooving insert from the Tang-Grip series, designed for parting and grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries a 2.00 mm cutting width (0.0787 inches) and a neutral lead angle, making it suitable for straight-in parting passes without lateral cutting bias. The insert is manufactured in grade IC830 with an AlTiN and TiN PVD coating, which provides thermal resistance and edge hardness for demanding workpiece materials. A 0.20 mm corner radius (0.0079 inches) and a 7-degree relief angle complete the geometry. HVAC, plumbing, and metalworking shops using CNC turning equipment will find this insert appropriate for high-volume production work.
This insert is engineered primarily for superalloy workpieces, corresponding to ISO material codes M, P, and S. Its JT chipbreaker geometry promotes controlled chip formation during parting and grooving cycles. The Tang-Grip series toolholder system accepts this insert style, making it a direct replacement for worn inserts in existing Tang-Grip setups. It is a single-end insert, rated for multi-use tooling configurations where the holder is retained and only the insert is replaced. Typical users include CNC machinists and toolroom technicians working with stainless steels, carbon steels, and superalloys in both job shop and production environments.

Disposal of worn carbide inserts should follow applicable local regulations for metallic waste.
