The ISCAR 6003102 is a solid carbide grooving insert in the PENTA series, designed for external grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Designated PENTA24R200J15DJ with manufacturer grade IC1008, this right-hand insert features a 2 mm cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 6 mm. The PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating combination delivers thermal resistance and wear protection across a broad range of workpiece materials. Screw-clamped insert holding ensures repeatable seating and rigid tool engagement during interrupted or continuous grooving passes.
