The ISCAR 6003060 is a solid carbide cutoff and parting insert in the Do-Grip series, designed for precision grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It features a 1.4 mm cutting width (0.0551 inches), a double-ended configuration for extended tool life, and an IC1028 carbide grade with a PVD-applied TiAlN and TiN coating for heat and wear resistance. The insert carries an 8-degree right-hand lead angle, a 7-degree relief angle, and a 0.16 mm corner radius. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians working with stainless steel and carbon steel workpieces.

This insert is suited for parting and grooving applications on stainless steel and steel in both production and job-shop environments. Installation Notes
