The ISCAR 6002957 is a double-ended carbide cutoff and grooving insert designed for use in Do-Grip series toolholders. It carries the DGN1402J geometry with an IC908 PVD-coated carbide grade, delivering a 1.4 mm cutting width and a 0-degree neutral lead angle. The IC908 coating is suited for universal workpiece materials across a broad range of alloys. With a relief angle of 7 degrees and a corner radius of 0.16 mm, the insert provides clean, controlled cuts in both grooving and parting operations. Licensed ISCAR tooling setups using clamp-style insert holding will recognize this insert's DGN geometry immediately.

This insert is intended for grooving and parting applications on CNC lathes and turning centers in production machining environments.
