The ISCAR 6002735 is a double-ended carbide cutoff and grooving insert in the Do-Grip series, designated HGN 3003C with a manufacturer grade of IC328. It delivers a 3.00 mm (0.1181 inch) cutting width with a neutral lead angle and a 0.30 mm (0.0118 inch) corner radius. The IC328 grade features a PVD coating applied over a carbide substrate, making it well suited for demanding cutting applications including superalloy workpieces. This insert is held in place by a clamp-style toolholder and is installed by machinists and CNC toolroom technicians on lathes and turning centers performing grooving, parting, and cutoff operations.

This insert is designed for grooving and parting applications on CNC lathes and manual turning machines. Its primary workpiece material designation covers superalloys along with ISO material codes M, P, and S, spanning stainless steels, carbon steels, and heat-resistant alloys. Installation Notes

Torque the clamp fastener to the toolholder manufacturer specification only; do not overtighten.
