The ISCAR 6002581 is a solid carbide cutoff and parting insert from the Do-Grip series, designed for precision groove and part-off operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Running under manufacturer grade IC328 with a PVD coating, this insert is engineered for cutting superalloys and other demanding workpiece materials. The cutting width measures 3.1 mm (0.122 inches), with a maximum depth of cut reaching 18.0 mm (0.709 inches). The double-end design provides two usable cutting edges per insert, extending service life. A 6-degree right-hand lead angle and a 0.02 mm corner radius support controlled chip formation during parting operations.

This insert is intended for parting, grooving, and cutoff applications in production turning environments, including aerospace and high-temperature alloy machining where superalloy workpiece materials are common. The JS chipbreaker geometry promotes chip control in tough, stringy materials.
