The ISCAR 6002434 is a solid carbide milling insert designed for grooving and parting operations on CNC milling machines and turning centers. Carrying the ANSI/ISO designation GSFN 2 IC328, this insert features a rectangular shape with a 2.00 mm (0.0790 inch) cutting width and a 0.3150 inch thickness. The IC328 grade substrate is PVD-coated with TiCN, delivering a hard, wear-resistant surface suited to high-speed cutting. With a positive rake geometry, a 7-degree relief angle, and a honed cutting edge, the insert produces clean, accurate grooves while reducing cutting forces. It is sold individually and must be ordered in multiples of 10.

This insert is intended for grooving and parting applications on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium workpieces, corresponding to ISO material groups P, M, and S. It is well suited for precision grooving in aerospace, energy, and general metalworking production environments. The neutral hand orientation makes it adaptable to both left- and right-hand setups. The insert mounts using the Self Grip holding method and is compatible with ISCAR SGSF cutter bodies.
