The ISCAR 5667825 is a corner rounding replaceable milling tip from the Multimaster MM ER series, designed for use in modular end mill tooling systems. Manufactured from sub-micrograin carbide with an IC908 grade and PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this tip delivers consistent performance across a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a 0.2285-inch (8.00mm) cutting diameter, a 0.0394-inch corner radius, and a 4-flute configuration with a right-hand cut orientation. The 90-degree lead angle and 0-degree chamfer angle suit standard face and profile milling operations. This tip is installed by machinists and CNC tool setters in production and job shop environments.
This milling tip is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is intended for use in high-speed, high-feed milling applications where edge geometry consistency and coating durability are critical. The replaceable tip format allows fast changeovers on the shop floor without removing the holder from the spindle, reducing downtime in production environments. It conforms to ANSI standards and is compatible with MM ER-series Multimaster holders.
Designed for use with MM ER-series Multimaster modular tooling holders. Insert size 1.0/040-5.8; confirm holder compatibility using ISCAR Multimaster system specifications before ordering.
Installation of replaceable milling tips should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tool setter with the spindle fully stopped and machine in a locked-out state per applicable safety procedures. Use the correct ISCAR torque key for the Multimaster system to seat the tip securely - do not use substitute tools that may damage the coupling interface. Verify runout after installation before commencing a cutting pass. Follow the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the IC908 grade and the specific workpiece material being machined.
