The ISCAR 5623207 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. It carries a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, a 45-degree chamfer angle, and five variable-index flutes with a 38-degree helix angle. The AlTiN (PVD) coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting ferrous and hard materials. At 3 inches overall length with a 0.937 inch length of cut, this single-end tool is built for medium-length-reach work. It is sized for use in CNC machining centers and milling machines operated by machinists and tooling professionals.
This end mill is suited for roughing and finishing operations including shouldering, slotting, rampdown, and helical interpolation. The close-pitch, variable-flute geometry helps manage chip evacuation and reduce chatter during aggressive cuts. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. Secondary materials include non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The straight-cylindrical 3/8 inch shank fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders. It belongs to the ISCAR ECI-E5-CF series, material grade IC900, and carries the catalog reference ECI-E5 375-937C37CFS.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, and cast iron as primary workpiece materials, with secondary capability on non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Part of the ISCAR ECI-E5-CF series, material grade IC900. Catalog reference ECI-E5 375-937C37CFS. Fits any standard collet or end mill holder accepting a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine powered down and locked out per applicable safety procedures. Ensure the shank is fully seated and the collet or holder is torqued to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Confirm runout is within acceptable tolerance before beginning a cut. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; use external coolant or air blast as required by the application.
