The ISCAR 5623203 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill engineered for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining environments. Built on the ECI-E4-CF series platform, it features a 3/4 inch diameter with a 45-degree chamfer angle, four helical flutes with a variable index, and an AlTiN PVD coating that extends tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The 1-1/2 inch length of cut pairs with a 2-1/4 inch reach length and a 5 inch overall length to access deeper features without sacrificing rigidity. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production facilities, and toolrooms will find this end mill suited to both roughing and finishing operations.
This end mill is designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It supports a broad range of operations including shouldering, slotting, ramp-down, helical interpolation, drill-mill, plunging, and recessing. The right-hand cutting direction, straight-cylindrical shank, and normal pitch make it compatible with standard ER and side-lock toolholders. Extended reach geometry provides access to deeper pockets and stepped features that standard-length tools cannot reach.
Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Part of the ISCAR ECI-E4-CF series; catalog number ECI-E4 750-1.5/2.25C75CFS.
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians using a standard toolholder sized for a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Verify runout with a dial indicator after seating to maintain cutting accuracy. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and ISCAR feed-and-speed recommendations for the specific workpiece material being cut.
