The ISCAR 5623079 is a high feed end replaceable milling tip from the MM EFF series, designed for use with Multimaster modular tooling systems. Built from ultra-fine grain carbide with an IC903 grade and a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this tip delivers thermal and wear resistance in demanding milling applications. It features a 1.0000-inch cutting diameter, 6 flutes, and a maximum depth of cut of 0.047 inches (1.2 mm), making it suited for high feed rate strategies where axial depth is kept shallow and radial engagement drives productivity. A right-hand cutting orientation and 97-degree lead angle complete the geometry. Licensed ISCAR-certified technicians and CNC machining professionals are the primary installers of this tip.
This milling tip is intended for high feed milling operations in production environments where cycle time reduction is a priority. The IC903 grade with TiAlN coating is optimized for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The MM EFF series modular design allows the tip to be changed at the machine without removing the holder, reducing downtime during tooling changeovers. It is used in both vertical and horizontal machining centers running ISO material groups P, M, K, N, S, and H workpieces.
Designed for use with ISCAR Multimaster modular tooling holders in the MM EFF series. Compatible with workpiece material groups P, M, K, N, S, and H per ISO classification. Conforms to ANSI standards.
Installation of this replaceable milling tip should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tips. Use the appropriate ISCAR Multimaster torque wrench and follow the holder manufacturer's seating procedure to achieve proper clamping torque and runout. Verify tip seating and face contact before resuming machining operations.
