The ISCAR 5622921 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. It carries a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) cutting diameter with a 0.02 inch corner radius and three helical flutes ground to an h6 diameter tolerance. The variable helix geometry reduces chatter and harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts, making this tool well suited for both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. With a 5 inch overall length and a straight-cylindrical 3/4 inch shank, it mounts directly into standard toolholders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is intended for cutting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and similar materials. It belongs to the ECAI-H3-CF series, which is engineered specifically for chatter-free performance in extended-reach situations. The 2.25 inch reach length and 1 inch length of cut make it a practical choice for cavity work, contouring, and profiling operations where tool deflection must be minimized. Machinists and CNC programmers working in production shops and job shops will find this tool appropriate for high-speed machining strategies on these material types.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter. Intended for machining non-ferrous metals; the primary workpiece material code is N per the supplier specification.
This tool is installed by a machinist or CNC setup technician into a compatible toolholder before mounting in the spindle. Always ensure the machine is powered down and the spindle is fully stopped before changing tooling. Confirm runout with a dial indicator after seating the shank in the holder, and verify that the collet or set-screw torque meets the toolholder manufacturer specification. Do not use this end mill on ferrous materials; doing so is outside the rated application and will accelerate edge wear.
