The ISCAR 5622766 is a replaceable carbide milling tip designed for center drilling operations in the Multimaster MM ECS tooling system. It carries the manufacturer designation MM ECS-A125X312-2T05 and is produced from sub-micrograin carbide with an IC908 grade and a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process. The tip features a 0.13 inch cutting diameter, a 120-degree included angle, a 90-degree lead angle, and a functional length of 0.59 inches. With two flutes and a right-hand cut orientation, it delivers consistent center drilling performance across a broad range of workpiece materials.
This milling tip is suited for use in production and job-shop environments where center drilling must be performed on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is installed in compatible MM ECS Multimaster holders and is appropriate for CNC machining centers operated by machinists and tooling technicians. The tip extends 0.591 inches from the holder and requires no coolant-through capability. ANSI standards apply to this insert.
Designed for use with Multimaster MM ECS series modular tool holders accepting the A125X312 insert size. Workpiece material compatibility includes ISO material groups P, M, K, N, S, and H, covering steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
Installation and replacement of Multimaster milling tips should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician with the machine fully powered down and the spindle locked. Use the appropriate ISCAR Multimaster torque wrench or assembly tool as specified for the holder series to avoid over-torquing the tip seat. Inspect the holder pocket and seating surfaces for chips or debris before installing the replacement tip. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine tool manufacturer guidelines during any tooling change.
