The ISCAR 5622710 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision chamfering and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It features a 0.9843-inch cutting diameter, a 2.0472-inch length of cut, and four flutes ground in a right-hand helix at 38 degrees. The TiAlN coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in high-speed dry or semi-dry machining environments. With a single-end configuration and right-hand cutting direction, this end mill is suited for CNC machining centers running aggressive feed and speed programs on hardened or abrasive materials.
This tool is appropriate for production and job-shop environments where consistent chamfer geometry is required on milled, bored, or drilled features. The 0.0236-inch chamfer length and 0.6-inch chamfer width make it well-suited for deburring edges and producing precise angled entries on close-tolerance components. It is installed by machinists and CNC setup technicians working in aerospace, mold and die, automotive, and general precision machining applications.
Designed as a direct-fit solid carbide end mill for use in standard CNC machining center tool holders accepting a 25 mm shank diameter.
This end mill is installed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians using an appropriate collet or end mill holder sized for the 25 mm shank. Confirm tool runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, and verify spindle RPM and feed rate against the manufacturer cutting data for the workpiece material and coating type. Do not exceed the rated length of cut or use the tool in a configuration that induces excessive overhang beyond the holder face.
