The ISCAR 5622532 is a single-end corner chamfer end mill engineered for demanding metal-removal operations in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. Built from solid carbide and finished with an AlTiN PVD coating, it handles both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool. The cutter measures 5/8 inch in diameter with a matching 5/8 inch Weldon flat shank, a 1.56-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length. Five variable-index flutes with a medium helix and close pitch promote chip evacuation while reducing chatter. The 45-degree chamfer geometry at 0.02 inch chamfer width breaks edges cleanly without a secondary operation. Confirm the machine is at a full stop and the spindle is locked before changing or measuring the tool.
