The ISCAR 5622266 is an end replaceable toroidal milling tip from the Multimaster MM ETR series, designed for use in modular milling tool assemblies. Built from sub-micrograin carbide in the IC908 manufacturer grade and finished with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this tip delivers reliable cutting performance across a broad range of workpiece materials. It features a 0.500 inch cutting width, a maximum depth of cut of 0.27 inches, and a 0.125 inch corner radius. The 6-flute configuration and 30-degree helix angle support consistent chip evacuation and surface finish in demanding applications. A 90-degree lead angle and right-hand cut orientation make this a direct-fit replacement tip for compatible Multimaster holders.
This milling tip is suited for material removal operations in ferrous and non-ferrous machining environments. It is rated for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials. Typical applications include shoulder milling, ramping, and general-purpose end milling where an exchangeable-tip system reduces tooling downtime. The MM ETR series format allows the tip to be swapped at the machine without replacing the entire tool body, making it a common choice in production machining and job shop environments where tool changeover speed matters.
Designed for use with compatible ISCAR Multimaster MM ETR series modular milling holders that accept the .500A27R125 insert size. Confirm holder interface and thread engagement before installation.
Installation of end replaceable milling tips should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before changing tips. Seat the tip fully into the holder interface and torque the clamping mechanism per the holder manufacturer specifications — do not use impact tools. Inspect the seating surface and tip threads for debris or wear before each installation to maintain runout tolerances.
