The ISCAR 5621955 is a 6-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built from ultra fine grain carbide and finished with a TiAlN coating, this tool delivers extended tool life and thermal resistance at elevated cutting speeds. The 45-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. With a 0.25 inch cutting diameter and 0.625 inch length of cut, this end mill is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where tight tolerances and surface finish quality are priorities. It is a single-end, straight-shank tool with right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flutes.
This end mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in production or job-shop environments. The TiAlN coating and ultra fine grain substrate make it compatible with a wide range of workpiece materials including hardened steels, stainless steels, cast irons, non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys, corresponding to ISO material groups H, K, M, P, and S. Its regular-length geometry fits standard tool holders for general milling, slotting, and profiling operations.
Designed for use with ISO material groups H, K, M, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, general steels, and high-temperature alloys. Fits standard 0.25 inch ID collets and end mill holders.
Installation is performed by machinists using standard collet chucks or end mill holders rated for the spindle RPM and feed rates required by the workpiece material. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and locked before inserting or removing the tool. Confirm runout with a dial indicator after seating to avoid premature tool wear. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety standards when setting cutting parameters.
