The ISCAR 5621476 is a corner radius end replaceable milling tip designed for use in the Multimaster MM EC-4 modular tooling system. Made from sub-micrograin carbide with an IC908 manufacturer grade and a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this tip delivers wear resistance across a broad range of workpiece materials. It features 4 flutes with a 30-degree helix angle and a 90-degree lead angle, producing a 0.375-inch cutting width and a maximum depth of cut of 0.275 inches. Functional length and overall extension from holder are both 0.512 inches. Right-hand cutting geometry and no chipbreaker define the standard configuration. Licensed HVAC, machining, and tool-and-die professionals install this tip in production and maintenance environments.
This milling tip is suited for applications involving steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, N, S, and H. The MM EC-4 series design makes it appropriate for use in high-productivity milling operations where quick tip changes and consistent performance are required. The 0.030-inch corner radius reduces edge chipping on entry and exit cuts, making it a practical choice for both roughing and semi-finishing passes on difficult-to-machine alloys and hardened materials.
Designed for use in the ISCAR Multimaster MM EC-4 modular end milling system. Insert size designation is .375A27R030. This tip does not include through-coolant capability and requires a compatible Multimaster holder for proper assembly.
Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians using appropriate torque tools for Multimaster-style threaded tip connections. Always de-energize and lock out the machine spindle before changing milling tips. Inspect the holder threads and seating surface for wear or contamination before installing a new tip. Avoid over-torquing the tip connection, as sub-micrograin carbide is brittle and sensitive to improper clamping force.
