The ISCAR 5621266 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. Measuring 5/8 inches in diameter with a 1 inch length of cut and a 0.06 inch corner radius, this single-end tool is built for both roughing and finishing operations. The four right-hand helical flutes run at a medium helix angle, promoting efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN (TiAlN) PVD coating provides thermal and wear resistance at elevated cutting temperatures, extending tool life in production environments. It is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry, and is installed in a standard straight cylindrical toolholder by machinists and CNC operators.
The ISCAR 5621266 is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, S, and H. Its medium-length flute geometry and submicron carbide grade make it a strong choice for profiling, contouring, and slotting operations on machining centers and CNC mills where consistent corner geometry is critical to part finish and dimensional accuracy. It fits standard toolholders accepting a 5/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Designed for use with standard toolholders accepting a 5/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials (ISO P, M, K, S, H). Part of the ISCAR ECI-E-4R series.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or removing the tool. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder to the manufacturer-specified grip depth and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning cuts. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or coating damage before each use, especially after interrupted cuts or hard-material applications.
