The ISCAR 5621041 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of workpiece materials. It measures 0.125 inches in diameter with a 0.25-inch length of cut and a 1.5-inch overall length. The three-flute design with a 45-degree helix angle balances chip evacuation and surface finish, while the TiAlN coating extends tool life in demanding cutting conditions. Material grade IC900 makes this end mill suitable for use in ferrous alloys, cast irons, stainless steels, superalloys, and similar materials. It is centercutting and features a right-hand cut with right-hand spiral flutes.
This end mill is intended for use in vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills where small-diameter, high-precision cutting is required. The straight cylindrical shank at 0.125 inches fits standard 1/8-inch collet chucks. It is well suited for slotting, peripheral milling, and profiling in ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials coded H, K, M, P, and S under standard workpiece material classifications. The regular length designation makes it appropriate for general-purpose milling where extended reach is not required.
Compatible with workpiece materials coded H, K, M, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, titanium, and other superalloys. Fits 1/8-inch straight collet chucks on standard CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the controller is in a safe state before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully in the collet and torque the collet nut to the specification published by the collet manufacturer. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cutting operation, particularly at this diameter where tool deflection is a concern.
