The ISCAR 5621024 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision chamfering and edge-breaking operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It measures 0.375 inches in diameter with a 0.75-inch length of cut and a 3-inch overall length. The 3/8-inch shank diameter fits standard end mill holders and collet chucks. A TiAlN coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The 38-degree high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces during the operation. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This corner chamfer end mill is suited for chamfering, deburring, and edge preparation on milled parts in both manual and CNC machining centers. The 0.02-inch chamfer width produces consistent, controlled edge breaks on part features. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration make it compatible with standard spindle rotation. Fine pitch geometry supports improved surface finish on finish-pass chamfer operations. It is appropriate for light to moderate material removal on steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar machinable alloys.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner chamfer end mill for use in standard 3/8-inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and milling machine spindles compatible with straight-shank tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an E-stop or locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended gauge-line depth and torque the set screw or collet nut per the holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing the cut, as excessive runout will accelerate edge wear on carbide tooling.
