The ISCAR 5621003 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.75-inch cutting diameter and six spiral flutes ground at a 45-degree helix angle, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes across a range of workpiece materials. The submicron grain carbide substrate provides wear resistance and edge stability under high cutting loads. A TiAlN coating further extends tool life by reducing heat buildup at the cutting edge. This tool is sized for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills operated by machinists and toolroom professionals working in production or job-shop environments.
This end mill is suited for milling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, heat-resistant alloys, and stainless steel grades. The primary workpiece material designations from the manufacturer include material codes H, K, M, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, carbon steels, and high-temperature alloys. With a 1.5-inch length of cut and a straight cylindrical shank, it fits standard ER and side-lock toolholders accepting a 0.75-inch shank. The regular-length configuration makes it appropriate for general-purpose pocketing, slotting, and peripheral milling where extended reach is not required.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before inserting or removing the end mill from the toolholder. Confirm runout and clamping torque meet the toolholder manufacturer specifications before initiating a cut. Because this tool is non-centercutting, use a ramping or helical entry path rather than direct axial plunge.
