The ISCAR 5620801 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.125-inch cutting diameter and a 3-flute spiral configuration at a 45-degree helix angle, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. The TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance and surface hardness, making this end mill well-suited for high-speed dry or semi-dry machining operations. The submicron grain carbide substrate offers rigidity and wear resistance in difficult-to-machine materials. Installation and operation are handled by machinists and CNC programmers in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is intended for use in milling operations on a range of workpiece materials including hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, carbon steels, and superalloys, as indicated by its primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, P, and S. The regular-length configuration with a 0.310-inch length of cut and 1.5-inch overall length is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling at shallow-to-moderate depths. The straight cylindrical shank is compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
Rated for workpiece materials coded H, K, M, P, and S, covering hardened steels, cast irons, stainless steels, carbon and alloy steels, and superalloys. Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills with standard 1/8-inch collets or end mill holders.
This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC technicians in shop environments. Secure the shank fully in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specifications before operation. Do not use this tool for plunge cutting, as it is non-centercutting. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use and replace when tool life limits are reached to avoid workpiece damage.
