The cutting zone offers a 5/8-inch length of cut with a 0.006-inch chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle. Four right-hand helical flutes at a 30-degree helix angle provide efficient chip evacuation. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating delivers heat resistance and surface hardness, making this tool well suited for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is center-cutting and rated for both roughing and finishing operations.
