The ISCAR 5607215 is a high feed end replaceable milling tip designed for use in the FeedMill and Multimaster modular tooling systems. Built from submicron carbide in the IC908 grade with a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, this insert delivers consistent performance in demanding metal removal applications. It carries a 12.00 mm (0.4720 inch) cutting diameter, four flutes, and a maximum depth of cut of 0.6 mm (0.0240 inch). The 1.8 mm corner radius and 97-degree lead angle are optimized for high feed, low depth-of-cut strategies that reduce radial cutting forces and extend tool life. Machinists and CNC programmers working in job shop and production environments specify this tip for its reliable grade consistency across multiple workpiece materials.
This milling tip is suited for high feed machining on a broad range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is a right-hand cutting tip with a functional length of 0.6500 inches and an extension from holder of 16.50 mm (0.6496 inches). Coolant-through capability is supported, making it compatible with spindle coolant delivery for chip evacuation and thermal control during high-speed passes. The 48-degree chamfer angle and 83-degree included angle further define the geometry for aggressive feed-rate programming at shallow axial depths.
Designed as an end replaceable tip for ISCAR Multimaster and MM EFF series modular milling holders. Full tip designation is MM EFF120T4R1.8-4T08H. Confirm holder shank interface and clamping torque requirements against the applicable ISCAR Multimaster holder specification before installation.
Installation of replaceable milling tips should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before seating or removing the tip. Use the appropriate ISCAR Multimaster torque key to engage the tip to the holder at the manufacturer-specified interface — do not use improvised tools that can damage the threaded coupling. Inspect the mating face and thread on the holder for debris or damage before threading on a new tip.
