The ISCAR 5606942 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI designation APKT 1003PDR-HM in manufacturer grade IC330. It is a single-sided, parallelogram-shaped insert engineered for use in HELIMILL face and shoulder milling cutters. The IC330 grade features a TiCN plus TiN PVD coating applied over a solid carbide substrate, delivering wear resistance and thermal stability during interrupted and continuous cuts. With a positive rake geometry, chamfered and honed cutting edges, and a right-hand orientation, this insert is built for productive metal removal in demanding milling operations performed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.

This insert is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium alloys, covering ISO material groups P, M, and S. The size code 1003 fits HELIMILL cutter bodies in the HM90-10 series.
